Overview:
The Fair Play R-2 School District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to replace windows at Fair Play Elementary, located at 301 N Walnut St, Fair Play, MO 65649. The scope of work includes the removal of existing windows and installation of new energy-efficient windows that meet the specifications outlined in this document. The selected contractor must be experienced in window replacement projects in commercial and/or educational settings.
Scope of Work:
1. Window Replacement:
- Remove and properly dispose of existing windows.
- Provide and install new, energy-efficient windows in compliance with all state and local building codes.
- Windows must be double-paned, Low-E glass, and meet ENERGY STAR® standards for the region.
- All windows should include child-safe locks and durable frames that require minimal maintenance.
- Install weatherproofing, caulking, and insulation as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Windows should match the current design and aesthetic of the building while improving thermal performance and security.
2. Project Timeline:
- The project is expected to commence no later than June 24 and be completed by August 1. Proposers should include a project schedule detailing expected completion dates.
3. Site Preparation and Clean-Up:
- The contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
- Daily cleanup of debris and materials is required, and final cleanup of all areas affected by the work must be completed.
5. Warranties:
- Provide warranty information for both materials and workmanship. Minimum 10-year warranty on windows is required.
Submission Requirements:
Proposals must include the following:
1. Company Information:
- Name, address, phone number, and email of the contractor.
- A brief history of the company and relevant project experience, specifically in school or commercial settings.
2. Detailed Proposal:
- Outline of the scope of work, including the types of windows to be installed, brands, and materials used.

Pre-Proposal Site Visit:
A mandatory pre-proposal site visit must be scheduled with the superintendent. This visit will provide an opportunity for interested contractors to view the existing windows and ask questions about the project. A site visit meeting is required to submit a proposal.

INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
Fair Play Elementary School HVAC Replacement Project
Sealed bids for the Fair Play Elementary School HVAC Replacement Project must be submitted to the Fair Play School District by April 16th at 3:00 p.m. Bids must be delivered to the Superintendent’s Office, located at 301 N Walnut St, Fair Play, MO 65649. The bids will be opened promptly at 3:00 p.m. Bidders are informed that the winning bid will be determined during the school board meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the same day. Late submissions will not be considered.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for contractors on April 11th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Fair Play Elementary School located at 301 N. Walnut St., Fair Play, MO 65649. Attendance at this meeting is required for bid consideration.
The work to be completed includes the provision and installation of the following equipment at Fair Play Elementary School:
A. Remove and dispose of existing equipment per EPA requirements
B. Provide and install:
C. (5) 3-ton Heat Pump
D. (12) Air Handler
E. (12) 10KW Heater Kit
F. High and low voltage electrical connections

The Fair Play R-II School District is accepting bids for the following Bus Repair/Maintenance services for the 2023-2024 school year, beginning July 1, 2023.
Bids are to include the following:
1. Labor Charge – please indicate if billing will be actual hours worked or per a flat rate manual.
2. Percentage of mark-up on parts and supplies.
3. Information describing staff training.
4. Charge for tire repair.
5. Pick-up and delivery of buses for service or repair.
6. Charge for emergency roadside service calls (mileage and labor charge).
7. Proof of liability insurance.
8. Documentation of state certification to perform yearly bus inspections.
9. Charge for a standard oil change.
10. Charge for changing out fuel filters.
11. Charge to mount and balance tires.
The following requirements will apply to all bus repairs and preventative maintenance.
1. All parts and supplies used must meet OEM specifications.
2. Replacement brake and steering parts must be new and not used or rebuilt.
