We are continuing to monitor our numbers of COVID cases. It is hitting our staff HARD. We will notify you if it becomes necessary to use our AMI days for Wellness Days.

There will be a baseball meeting for players and parents on Thursday, January 20th at 5:00pm in the high school cafeteria.

SCHEDULE CHANGE:
We have added a varsity girls basketball game to our schedule. The girls team will be playing at Galena on Saturday, February 12th. The game will start at noon.

REMINDER - On Friday, January 21, we will be honoring the following graduating classes: class of 2017 (5 years), class of 2012 (10 years) and class of 1997 (25 years).
We will recognize these individuals during halftime of our varsity boys basketball game on homecoming night.

Homecoming games against Climax Springs will start at 5:30 with the Homecoming ceremony taking place after the games.
There will be a Homecoming Dance immediately following the coronation. The dance will last an hour and a half and will cost $3 to enter.

The boys basketball team will not be participating in the JV Tournament at Morrisville that was scheduled for today and next Saturday.

Second reminder to Greenhand FFA Members about the Motivational Conference at Missouri State University on Wednesday. This is a District FFA activity conducted by the State FFA Officer team. Official Dress is required. As I mentioned prior to break, I can help with FFA Jackets and ties/scarves for those not having ordered yet. I DO NOT have white dress shirts/black pants/skirts, black hose or black shoes. See you on Wednesday.

Happy New Year! We wanted to send you a quick reminder the FIRST day for students will be WEDNESDAY, January 5th. During second semester we will NOT be identifying people for quarantine. Those who test POSITIVE for COVID will need to be isolated 5 days OR until symptoms are gone.

Freshman FFA members, don't forget about the Greenhand Motivational Conference that will be held next Wednesday at Missouri State University. We will leave at 8:00am and be back mid-afternoon. Per my reminder prior to break, Official FFA Dress is required. Enjoy the rest of your break.

REMINDER:
High School basketball practices for boys and girls will start Monday, November 1. All athletes need to have an updated sports physical on file in order to participate.

FFA Members enjoyed the day at the opening convention session and at the FFA Career Show and Expo.

Our Junior High Athletic Banquet for basketball and cheerleading will be tomorrow night at 6:00pm in the cafeteria.

The bus taking FFA Members to Indianapolis tomorrow will not be stopping for breakfast. Members need to eat breakfast prior to leaving at 5:30.
