April and May are important months of testing for our school district. Grades 7 and 8 will be taking the MAP test on April 24-26, May 1-2 and May 8-9. Algebra B students will be taking the EOC test April 26-27; Algebra I students will be taking the EOC May 10 and 11. English II students will be taking the EOC May 8-9 and Government students will be taking their EOC May 10. All tests are given in the mornings.
Please make every attempt to encourage good attendance and NOT schedule appointments for your student on these dates throughout the entire testing period.

Congratulations to Sara Nelson for winning the Youth Trip provided by Southwest Electric. This is an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. Congratualtions to Logan Underwood for winning the Cycle Essay. Logan has won an all expense paid trip to Jefferson City provided by Southwest Electric. Southwest also presented a $250 dollar check to the Fair Play School. We want to say THANK YOU to Southwest Electric for everything they do for our school and community.
Tonight is family night in the administration building. Dinner is served at 6. Come check out all the great stuff going on including the junior high science fair projects.

Tomorrow is ACT Testing day for this year's junior class. Get some rest and come prepared to do you best and score well. Juniors should be here by 8:10 and bring ID. There will be no late admission once the exam starts.
Tomorrow is Election Day. Please remember to vote. Proposition Care is to extend the current debt service levy and is not a tax increase. This will allow us to upgrade the district’s facilities. The big gym is 38 years old and the high school is 18 years old. They need some attention. Please remember to vote.

The 2018 Honor Banquet is this Friday, March 23 at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Qualifying students were given an invitation today at school.
