
Tomorrow is ACT Testing day for this year's junior class. Get some rest and come prepared to do you best and score well. Juniors should be here by 8:10 and bring ID. There will be no late admission once the exam starts.

Tomorrow is Election Day. Please remember to vote. Proposition Care is to extend the current debt service levy and is not a tax increase. This will allow us to upgrade the district’s facilities. The big gym is 38 years old and the high school is 18 years old. They need some attention. Please remember to vote.

The 2018 Honor Banquet is this Friday, March 23 at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Qualifying students were given an invitation today at school.

Friday's baseball jamboree has been moved to US Ballpark (the Old Price Cutter and Mountain Ducks park) in Ozark. They have remodeled the park and have a full turf field and really nice facilities. It is Drury's home park, so it will awesome for our kids to play on.
We are leaving at 11. Our warm-up time is scheduled for 12:30 and then we play at 1:00 and 2:45. We will play two, four inning scrimmages (against Springfield Central and New Covenant).

National School Breakfast Week is March 5th-9th. Each day has a different theme just like homecoming week.

Kindergarten and 7th is Red.
1st grade and 8th is Blue.
2nd grade and 9th is Green.
3rd grade and 10th is Purple.
4th grade and Pre-K is Orange.
5th grade and 11th is Yellow.
6th grade and 12th is Pink.
Wednesday is Farmer/Cowboy Day.
Thursday is Disney/Cartoon Character Day.
Friday is Black and Gold Day.

Update: Varsity boys basketball game for tonight has been cancelled. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow February 22, at 7:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service has updated the timing of tonight's winter weather to start early than what was expected. We will be dismissing school today at 1:30 p.m. The Varsity Boys Basketball Game that was scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. has now been moved up to 4:00 p.m. The bus will leave at 2:30 p.m. The King's Kids meeting that was scheduled for tonight has also been cancelled. If any other changes are made we will notify you as soon as possible.

The Fair Play HS Student Council will be sponsoring a Blood Drive today (Thursday) from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the school multi-purpose room. The CBCO has recently issued a "Code Red" appeal for blood donors.

The OTC Star Advising trip for seniors will leave at 8am Tuesday. Students should bring money for lunch and permission slips if not already turned in.
