The home baseball game today against Wheatland and the JH track meet at Appleton City have both been cancelled. Practices have also been cancelled. We are supposed to receive an update on the HS track meet at Skyline by 2pm.
The HS baseball team will be hosting Wheatland today. Game will start at 5pm with a JV game to follow.
The JH track team will be traveling to Appleton City for their meet today. The bus will leave at 2:30pm.

All of these events have the possibility of being cancelled due to the weather today. If/when schools communicate to us, we will get the information out.
Baseball Schedule Update - We will be making up our game against Dadeville on Monday, 4/29/24. The game will be played at Dadeville and will start around 6:30-7:00pm. Dadeville will be playing two games that night and therefore cannot play any JV innings.

The HS baseball team will travel to Macks Creek today. The game will start at 5pm with a JV game to follow. They will play at the field where 73 meets 54 (see image). Bus will leave at 2:45. The JH track team will be traveling to El Dorado Springs for their track meet. Bus will leave at 2:45. The HS JV track team will travel to Buffalo for their meet today. Bus will leave at 2:45.
Rowdy Garzee, Keelie Henderson and Riley Tillery were among 1,051 MO FFA members to receive the State FFA Degree at this year's State Convention
Day 3 of State FFA Convention is coming to a close and has been eventful. The Entomology Team of Annah McGaha, Chloe Bruce, Katie Clark and Mekenzie Evans earned a Group I, 5th Place finish out of 48 teams and qualified for an Invitation to the National Entomology Contest at Tarleton State University in Texas in early May. They were all Group I Individuals placing 6th, 25th, 43rd and 45th respectively.
The Meat Judging Team of Keelie Henderson, Riley Tillery, Bailey Clark and Jasmine Farrow earned a Group I, 9th Place Finish out of 47 teams. Keelie and Riley were Group I Individuals placing 14th and 36th respectively. Bailey and Jasmine placed high in the Group II Individuals.

Our Esports team will be playing for the district championship today. If they win they will advance to the state playoffs in Mexico, Missouri. #GoHornets
The FFA Nursery and Landscaping team of Kaden Lewis, Andrew Hartshorn, Kegan Anderson and Chloe Foster placed 16th out of 50 teams competing and earned a Group II team rating. Kaden was 19th High Ind. and earned a Group I rating. All other team members earned Group II ratings.
First results from State FFA Convention today. The Dairy Foods team is back to back state Champions!! They finished first out of 50 teams competing. Lexi Bee, Dallas Hardt, Riley Bruce and William Frye were 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th High Individuals out of close to 200 competing. All earned Group I Individual ratings. Congrats!
On Saturday, April 13th our Scholar Bowl team competed in the district contest at Lockwood. We made it to the semifinals and lost a close contest to Dadeville.
Riley Bruce and Cody Henderson were in the top five scorers for districts which is a huge accomplishment.

Update on the baseball game at Weaubleau. They had to push back the start time due to the umpires not being able to make it there on time. The game will now start at 5:30pm. Also, they do not have enough players to play a JV game so tonight will be varsity only.
